Melbourne’s World’s End Press have dropped a new video for their synth-charged gem, ‘Drag Me Home’.
Considering the video opens with a red-headed youth demonstrating his patriotic values by masturbating under an Australian flag, the video probably isn’t one that you want to watch at work or with your nan. Directed by Luci Schroder and shot in Melbourne, the clip is an arbitrary montage of a bunch of quirky characters from the charming gentleman mentioned earlier to a contortionist pouring tomato sauce on a pie with her feet.
The track itself is just as compelling. Straight off their debt self-titled album, Drag Me Home is an eclectic blend of electro pop laced with clever lyrics and a catchy chorus. Although some of the quartet’s tracks have an undeniably retro vibe, the album is a fresh batch of modern dance anthems.
