Wild Beasts enter the stage to Roy Orbison’s “You Got It”, what a great intro song! They’ve been around for a decade, “borne from Kendal, built in Leeds, living in London, releasing on Domino Records“. Singer Hayden Thorpe’s voice reminds us of Antony Hegarty of Antony & the Johnsons. They put on a great set including songs from their current album “Smother” and a section of “old songs”, to the audience’s delight. Large-scale activity on social media prior to the live stream resulted in listeners from fifty countries with Sweden, UK, USA and Germany being the most common.
