Trentemøller, the main man of the Danish electronic music scene, is back with a new track. He already treated his fans to a compilation Live in Copenhagen earlier this year and now he’s about to release his third studio album in autumn. The first single Never Stop Running is a self-searching anthem featuring vocals from Jonny Pierce a.k.a. the voice of the Brooklyn surf-rock trio The Drums.
It starts off on a desperate note with Pierce singing Say goodbye to your friends, say goodbye to your family and it’s not until the 1:11 mark that it reaches a cathartic chorus that steers the song into an indie feel. Check out the track and the melancholic Frederik Jacobi directed video above.
