Stockholm based Mountain Bird released a brand new single this week, right after the acoustic live version they shared on Soundcloud a few days ago. Not so far from the dreamy atmosphere of Youth Blood pt.1, this Adam Öhman project stressed the point on the dreamy and echoing evocative background of the song. This way the tune lies on wide sounds, slowly diving in a sea of reverberated melodies and notes.

The overfiltered voice that introduces the song creates a good contrast with the soft and airy main vocal line as well as with the backing choir. It’s easy to notice the fine work behind the well structured amalgam of guitars and voices: it really seems like the post rock influences of the band could be able to turn into elegant and classy pop songs.

The acoustic version of this track is also noteworthy: way more intimist than the official single, is a privileged access to the basic structure of the song. With different accents and atmospheres, this B-side is the perfect counterpart of the evocative soundscapes the single produces.
