Austin’s Love Inks release new single, “Solar Diary”.
Following up their acclaimed 2011 debut E.S.P., which included the insanely catchy “Blackeye“, Love Inks will return this September with new full-length Generation Club. But first up is lead track “Solar Diary”.
The band seems to have progressed subtly from songs like “Skeleton Key” and “Leather Glove”. The atmospheric guitar melodies are dropped to the background in favor of darker synth tones. And despite the band’s intention to keep a minimalistic sound, the prominent drum machine loops and Sherry LeBlanc’s lush voice give the song fullness.
Generation Club is out 24 September on Monofonus Press. Follow Love Inks on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.
