Nostalgia for the British old fashioned way of composing: this is what you should expect from High Hazels, a brand new charming combo from Sheffield.
With a sound that strongly reminds of Morrissey and the legendary Smiths, this band will release their debut single on the 7th October via Heist or Hit Records. Hearts Are Breaking is a three-minutes fanciful pop song, full of dreamy sound effects and delicate vocal lines: the perfect tune to chill with. Starting with an airy and gentle guitar riff, the track clearly references to the contemporary dream-pop standards as well as to the 80s pop songwriting.
A state of grace and peacefulness runs throughout the song. This way you can gently drown into a sea of bittersweet melodies, guided by a warm and cosy voice. While the song softly fades out, an enchanting vibration is still echoing around.
