The Flow Festival site tells us that “French Films began as the solo project of Johannes Leppänen, and soon evolved into a five-piece band after the early demos gathered an unusual amount of interest from fans and music business big wigs alike”. They started out as late as 2010 and signed to local Finnish label GAEA. Enjoy a great mix of dark and dreamy, surfrock inspired, bunch of songs. There’s certainly a talent to preserve here!
