After a brief period of silence, Deep Sea Arcade are back and luckily for us, they have returned bearing gifts in the form of their new single Black Cat.

Fresh off their forthcoming LP, Black Cat has already received stellar reviews. As the Sydney quintet spent the better part of this year living in London, there is no question as to why the new track embodies a distinctly British pop vibe. However, the track is still driven by Deep Sea Arcade’s own unique sound. Laden with lush melodies, 60s nostalgia and raw vocals that ooze sex appeal, the new single is fiercely catchy and guaranteed to create some decent hype around the forthcoming album. Although undeniably fresh, Black Cat certainly holds true to the psychedelic pop that Deep Sea Arcade perfected in their critically acclaimed LP Outlands.

Recorded and mixed by Dan Grech-Marguerat (Lana Del Rey, The Vaccines, Howling Bells, The Kooks), Deep Sea Arcade’s new LP is due out early next year.
