Last Sunday it was Mexico’s Independence Day and to continue the celebration, here’s a brand new track of Mexican band Chikita Violenta.
“Implosión F” is the second single Armando David, Esteban Suárez and Andrés Velasco have released with plans of it being part of an EP or LP. Used to sing in English, in this new stage, without their lead singer and drummer, they decided to rely in their native tongue.
Largely influenced by the Canadian music scene and culture, and produced by their long time friend Dave Newfeld, Chikita Violenta got the help of The Most Serene Republic ex-drummer, Tony Nesbitt-Larking, creating a very dynamic track with soft vocals exploding just in time to go back to tranquility.
Go over to their Souncloud page to listen to their past work and a The Smiths cover.
