Montreal-bred Born Gold is back with a new album, I am an exit, on October 8. First preview from the album, the track Hunger, is a catchy straight-forward pop tune with a lot of personality. Hunger has a softer sound than Born Gold’s songs from previous work yet Cecil Frena, the man behind Born Gold, manages to present his lyrics in a more powerful way. The catchy pop sound does not by any means mean that Frena has chosen a safe path though and the track is presented with a wonderfully cooky video.
