Their sound is a little distant from that of their British colleagues, deeming themselves as a punk band. Influenced by Fugazi, Queens of the Stone Age and Sonic Youth, among others, Blood Red Shoes keep showing us that punk attitude record after record and above all, in their live shows.
To change the dynamic a bit and entertain their fans, they scattered QR codes in 10 different cities around the world to unlock their new track “The Perfect Mess.” The first person that found the code in each city won a pair of tickets for life for their shows. Now that’s a cool prize!
The eponymous new album was recorded in Berlin and in the video we can see some behind the scenes of their time there. Further in-studio teasers will be available soon.
Blood Red Shoes will hit shelves on the 3rd of March next year.
