The London based duo Big Deal is back again with their second LP, June Gloom. The second single, Dream Machines, shows perfectly the approach of the band (here supported by an expanded ensemble): a dreamy guitar pop merged into a steamy rhythmic section. Opened by a reverberated guitar phrasing, the track leads the listener straight into Big Deal’s world.
The solemn beat of the drums, the guitars’ never-ending sustain, the breezy interweaving vocals: a good sample of what they created on this second full-length. One of twenty-four new tracks added to our playlist on June 10.
