The new indie up-and-comers from Latvia deliver their first ever radio single and are one step closer to releasing their debut LP.
Carnival Youth consists of four young guys – brothers Emīls and Edgars, their classmate Roberts, and Aleksis. Together they form an exciting cascade of overlapping vocals while guitars, drums and keyboards create a folk inspired indie rock background. For the past year they have been playing gigs all over Latvia and are slowly but steadily establishing a dedicated fanbase.
Never Have Enough is their first official single and it’s a sunny and cheerful tune about enjoying life and the people around you. It came about while recording some demos in the beginning of this summer after spending a week together in a small village near town Kuldīga. It is also the first taste from their debut album, which is due out in spring and is also titled Never Have Enough.
