Japanese indie pop five-piece Wallflower delivers a dreamy new video for their latest single Only in My Dreams, exclusively at Gimme Indie today.

If Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti is the first thing that comes to mind when you notice the title of the song, you’re not far away from the truth. Wallflower’s single evokes the same dream pop sound of carefree days and is a very pleasant listen. The sunny video was directed by Swedish video artist Jonas Börjesson.

The Osaka dreamers got discovered by the similar-sounding, Brooklyn-based The Pains of Being Pure at Heart when they first uploaded their music to Soundcloud in January, 2012. They invited Wallflower to join them on their Japan tour, which in turn brought the band a lot of attention. This month Wallflower will hit the road supporting Swedish indie pop duo Alpaca Sports. They will play two shows in Tokyo and three shows in Osaka so, if you find yourself in the land of the rising sun in November, you have a chance of catching two great bands, both on Fastcut Records.
