Rough Days for Diamond Trade, the solo project for which Dane Frederik Sølberg is responsible, just released a remix version of his critically acclaimed debut EP Somehow on Berlin-based Danish label Looking Forward.
The filmmaker and musician, who splits his time between Copenhagen and Berlin, has let a number of great fellow musicians and producers remix two of his best tracks to re-launch his EP under the title ”Somehow Remixed”. RTFDS gloomy 80s electronic pop, characteristic for many contemporary Danish music masters, mixed with dancing beats from Unkwon, Elka 8 and Leather Jacket make the perfect late summer soundtrack. Although this may be nothing new under the sun, they managed to come up with some amazing remixes and a new release is always an excellent excuse for a launch party.
Anyone who is in Berlin tonight should head down to Our/Berlin Music Week for people spotting, ear candy and free fun.
