Los Campesinos! announced their return last week with a track titled “What Death Leaves behind”, the first preview of their upcoming fifth studio album.
Packed with poppy synths and a catchy chorus this song is about “friendship and familial closeness”, though it gives a hint of something darker, but Los Campesinos! are known for their particular humor and cynicism.
Set to be released on October 29 on Wichita Recordings, this time, the Welsh band has moved on from Hello Sadness saying No Blues.
