Earlier this week, Leeds band Sky Larkin premiered the video for their new single “Loom”, a cheery song that will fool you at first. Listen closely, and you’ll notice the darkness underneath.

This song is “the saddest on the record”, according to singer Katie Harkin. Who has also contributed playing keyboards and backing vocals on tour with Wild Beasts and made the cover art for their third record, Motto. For this album, the band grew into a four-piece with Nile Marr (yes, the son of Johnny Marr) on second guitar and Sam Pryor on bass, replacing Doug Adams.

With a UK tour to come and some festival appearances, twelve new tracks will be available this September on Wichita Recordings.
