Todd Goldstein, the main songwriting force behind ARMS, has overcome his creative drought and returned to the music scene with five new songs.
What once started as a solo project is now a collaboration with drummer Tlacael Esparza and the new EP2 is due out September 10 on Paper Garden Records.
The first taste from the new record is the opening track “Comfort”, a song about a quirky break-up story. “Well, I hope that you’re safe wherever you are as you spin through the streets and you sleep in your car,” sings Goldstein as he realizes that he is not his lover’s comfort anymore. If you were a fan of his previous band Harlem Shakes, ARMS just might satisfy your craving for that true Brooklyn indie rock.
