Sydney natives Sticky Fingers have lived up to (and perhaps exceeded) their reputation of wild antics with the release of their new video for “Freddy Crabs”.
Set on the seaside, the video begins with the Sticky Fingers washing up on shore, drowning in seaweed and spewing up salt water. The boys then venture through the sand dunes and gallop under a psychedelic sunset before stumbling across a truly terrifying site: a crowned devil dressed in a red spandex bodysuit.
Naturally, they begin a battle to the death involving vicious crab attacks and karate kicks that do not fair well upon the Sticky Fingers. When all hope appears lost, a face melting guitar riff is the only thing that can save the boys from their fate!
And if things couldn’t get any better, the dudes soon come across a quintet of seductive sirens who they proceed to party with.
A clever and quirky video, the clip is the cherry on top of this indie pop gem.
