If we say Bordeaux, chances are wine will come to your mind almost immediately (and we won’t blame you). Well, the gorgeous west-coast French harbour is now hosting yet another delicacy, aimed this time for your ears: a quintet named Pendentif (“pendant”). Off the forthcoming album is this first single Embrasse-moi (“Kiss me”) whose bouncy bass line is hard to resist.
Oh and while we’re at the twee pop section, let us mention Diving With Andy, an equally gifted French band, with this difference that lyricist and vocalist Juliette Pâquereau (can a name sound more French than that?) chose to sing in – a disapointingly faultless – English.
